Clifford - My New Enemy

Morgan is becoming accustomed to what TV programs are on at what times of the day. It just happens that Clifford comes on a 7 am each weekday. Most of the time I am up and its not that big of a deal, but there are a few days I can sleep until 7:30 or 8:00. She does the same routine of waking up and fussing a bit until we give her a bottle. But no sooner than she has the bottle in her mouth, she has the remote in her hand and asking "Please" and pointing to the TV. I guess that we perhaps brought it on ourself one day as we turned it on to give her something to do while we were getting ready. Alas, out child is becoming addicted to the Big Red Dog.

I used to have a great love for Clifford myself, but I now I see him as my sworn enemy.

From Ben's Wedding to Guitar Hero

I have been poor at best at keeping this thing updated, so much so that Kim started her own blog, http://inthelifeofthesuchers.blogpsot.com

Having said all that, I have been very busy the last while. In addition to buying a business, trying to keep my wife and child happy and studying for my licensing exams, I did manage to find a few minutes to slide over to Utah for my college roommate, Ben Johnson's wedding.

It was a great day weather wise to get married. Logistics wise, it was a bit more difficult. President Hinckley's funeral was the same time and got over right before Ben and Steph's sealing. Needless to say, it was difficult to find a place to park downtown. It all worked out and the wedding went off without a hitch. It was a great experience to be there. Finally, after April, all of that apartment will be married. That is Aaron Meacham, Nate Watson and Ben Johnson. Crazy that I took care of business four years ago and these jokers all decided to get married within six weeks of each other. Honestly I am glad and exited for them all and very proud they all married in the Temple.

Nate, Ben and Me

As Valentines Day approached, Kim and I decided we would get each other "Guitar Hero" as our gift to one another. Yeah, I know most people who will read this will say that I pushed for that, however, Kim was just as much a part of that purchase as I was.

Kim made a great meal on Valentines Day. I got home and she had shrimp and king crab prepared. Having served in Alaska, I gained quite a taste for king crab and it is one of my favorite things to eat. As our meal progressed, Morgan decided she would like to partake of the goodness of king crab. She is not shy about taking food or anything from another individual, so as I turned my head, she swiped one of the legs on my plate. Oddly enough, she also has quite a taste for succulent king crab.

It turned out to be a great Valentines Day.
